Therapy with Sophie
If you’re here, you’re probably tired of carrying everything on your own. I get it. Welcome. The overthinking. The self-doubt. The anxiety that shows up at the worst times. The relationship patterns you keep trying to outgrow. The sense that everyone else got a rule book for life… and somehow you never got yours.
You want to understand yourself better & not in a vague, abstract way, but in a clarifying. and relieving, and maybe even life-changing way. You want real self-soothing kills you can use in the moment, not just “think positive” advice. You want to feel grounded in who you are, to build trust in yourself, and to actually soothe your mind and body when things get overwhelming.

Approach
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in integrative, insight-oriented therapy for adolescents and adults. My approach blends Psychodynamic Psychotherapy with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Somatic Awareness.
Clinically, my work focuses on self-esteem, anxious attachment, communication and boundary-setting, patterns of avoidance, and the ways early experiences shape current behavior and relationships. I also provide treatment for OCD and ADHD using behavioral interventions.
I aim to create a therapeutic relationship characterized by safety, collaboration, and transparency. One where we can explore while I challenge you, and ultimately shift the patterns that keep you stuck. My goal is to help you develop emotional insight, build skills, act from values, and cultivate a more grounded and self-compassionate sense of self.
